November 4th
We are so excited to be bringing Pam Lambie and Jen Moody to teach in our store! Both are not only great scrappers, published scrapbook book authors, great teachers, but are just way too cute and fun. They have taught at CKU, American Scrapbook Conventions, and scrapbook stores around the country. And they are coming to "PLAY WITH US!"
Hopefully you have been saving Nov. 4th because we have a fun filled day planned for you.
The first class is from 1-3 and is from their co-authored Pinecone Press book Self-Centered!:
Self-Centered Pieces of Me Tin (2 hours) Based on Pam and Jen’s book Self-Centered, the art of scrapbooking you and your life, join us to Create an "all about me" mini-album using Pinecone Press' Deck of Cards and Moments tin. You will leave feeling motivated and inspired. You will learn that the next time someone says that you are “selfcentered” you will take to take it as a compliment!
• Students will need to bring a tool kit including the following: paper trimmer, adhesive (tape or glue), scissors.
From 4-6 will be a travel journal (that can be used for anything not just travel):
Travel Journal/Album (2 hours) Designed using Bazzill’s Zippered Album, join us and create your very own custom travel journal and album. Come learn tips and techniques from Pam and Jen on ways to capture all of your memories from your trip. You will leave class inspired and ready to hop on a plane to an exotic or far-off destination.
• Students will need to bring a tool kit including the following: paper trimmer, adhesive (tape or glue), scissors.
We will then have a special crop for those who are taking the final class Metal Media. The crop will be from 6:30-11:00 with class from 7-9:
Metal Media Album (2 hours) Design you very own custom CD album and CD’s to match using American Crafts paper, rub-ons, Memory Marker and ribbon. A perfect project for a gift, but you will have so much fun in class that you will have a hard time giving it away.
• Students will need to bring a tool kit including the following: paper trimmer, adhesive (tape or glue), scissors.
Each class is $35 but if you sign up for all three you get $15 off and don't forget the free Sat. crop for those taking the last class (maybe Pam and Jen will stay and play!) The only problem is that we only have 22 spots for each class. PLEASE do not wait to sign up. I will be so sad to tell you we have no more room. Classes must be paid in full when you sign up and can only be refunded if we fill your spot.
YEAH, we are sooooooo excited!!

Congratulations Shannon and Wanda!
At CKU this past weekend, our very own Shannon Coad won first place in the Chatterbox layout competition with the subject, "Why I Scrapbook". Shannon won an unbelievable Chatterbox suitcase, FILLED with Chatterbox goodies!
Another one of our own, Wanda Green, won the Spnsor Appreciation Contest. Wanda won a gift certificate, to be used at the CKU store. We have always known these ladies are extremely talented, it was fun to see them get the recognition they deserved.
How many people can you name in this picture?
As many of you know, CKU, or Creating Keepsakes University, was held this past weekend in Houston. Several of Scrapbook University's customers made quite a presence there. At each CKU, there is a "dorm" contest, where a group of ladies competes to perform a song or cheer at the Friday night crop. Our girls joined up with four girls from Houston, to create a dorm called "Scrappin' to the 80's". They were all nervous/excited, but in the end, they ended up winning FIRST place!
