Scrappin' With Scripture

Asked and answered. Sort of. We are going to have two classes each month. A daytime version for the stay-at-home moms and such and an evening version for those of you that work outside of the home. How does that sound? And to avoid confusion, mostly on Becky's part (poor confused Becky), these have both been moved to the second Tuesday of the month. The morning one will be at 10:30 and the evening one at 6:30.

Several wanted to do the evening one but had conflicts tonight. So, mark March 11th on your calendar. This is when the evening one will start. In order to catch you up with the morning group, Becky will post the scriptures over on the message board. There will be a new thread started under "classes." (Here is a link right to that thread!) If you have any more questions, go over to that thread and ask her. (Psst, we know she checks the board often!!)

So, in summary, no class tonight. March 11th for both. Be on the lookout for the March calendar coming soon!

What's on Your Bucket List?

This light-hearted lens asks that big bold question, "What's on your 'bucket list'"? Well, you've certainly come to the right spot, (especially if you haven't got a clue about "the bucket list", or seen the movie by the same name). All of which means that you've probably never taken the time to figure out who you really are, let alone ponder why you're here.
So what's on your list of top ten things to do before you bite the dust, fall off your perch, give up the ghost, pop your clogs, or you guessed it, "kick the bucket"? Maybe you've even avoided doing what really matters to you because you didn't want to admit that everyone, even you, must sooner or later "kick the bucket". And, by that time it'll be just too late to catch a glimpse of one of the Grand Canyon, finish your college degree, or join the circus for a day. Too busy to ask this question of all questions?
Too weak in the knees to find the answer written on a scrumpled piece of yellow paper in a waste bucket? Fear not, have we got a game for you!
There are two ways to play:
1) You can post your list here~ Once it's written for the world wide web to see, you may feel more compelled to work to accomplish them. Plus, something you write might just inspire someone else to add to their "List".
2) A special page will be set up in Scrapbook University's Contest Gallery, on our website- http://www.scrapbookuonline.com/ . Do a layout about a specific item on your list, or about the entire list itself. It's up to you; it's YOUR Bucket List!
(This game was orginally posted on message board on our website; come play with us there too!)

Scrappin' with Scripture
This group starts Tuesday morning at 10:30. Join Becky as she leads the group in a short devotional using one Bible verse and then she will discuss different layout techniques and how to scrapbook using that verse. You will receive a $5 store credit to use in order to purchase supplies to put together your layout. You will have one month to work on your layout. Each month, a new verse will be presented and discussed. Coffee will be provided. Bring your favorite mug if you want! If you want to stay and play for a while, do that, too! Don't forget to bring your Bible.

Jan's Red and Orange

Post the Most Contest

Scrapbook University's Message Board is finally ready to go! We have been playing with it for a while, to make it ready for you!

The Message Board has lots of fun forums (but not too many!)~ a little something for everyone!

To help get everyone going, we will have a "Post the Most" Contest this month... It's easy to register, just click on "register" at the top, and it only takes a minute or two.

Once you have your user name set, you can play with us online, too!

The only rule is that each post must relate to the category you're posting in.

This one is easy~ at the end of February, we will check to see which user has the highest number of posts. Whoever posts the most, wins a surprise!

While you're there, check out the rest of our website, too~
