"Sweet Retreat" Supply List

If you are signed up for this weekend's Sweetwater "Sweet Retreat" at SU, get ready to have a great time! You will be completing 5 projects, get great prizes, and have lots of fun!! Plus, you will have a few hours at the end of the day to put finishing touches on your projects, or scrapbook those pages you've been trying to get done for a while.



Here is the supply list for the 5 classes. We are including photo sizes. If you want to bring pictures, you will leave with completely finished projects! If you want to add pictures later, that's okay too-- it will give you more time to work on your other scrapbook projects.

Project #1
The Big Day- Family Birthday Celebration
This album celebrates birthdays. Pick 6 people in your family- they can be children, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. Choose one birthday photo for each person and crop to 4.5"x4.5".

Photos Needed:

Six sized 4.25x4


Project #2

Friendship Album
This album can be made for any type of friendship- from one special friend to a group of friends. You can even make the album about your child's friends. It will make a great gift- or keep it for yourself!

Three sized 6"x4"
Two sized 3"x4"
One sized 5"x3
One sized 3"x2"
Two sized 4"x4"

Project #3

All About Me
This album can be made about yourself or someone you love. Simply choose your favorite photos and crop them to the given sizes.

Three sized 6"x4"
Four sized 3"x5"
One sized 4"x4"
Five sized 4"x6"
One sized 5"x6"
One sized 6"x5"
Two sized 2"x2"
One sized 2"x4"

Project #4

Family Album
Pick your favorite family photos- some can be group photos, others can be a picture of a single person. You can even include pets if you've like!

Photos Needed:

Two sized 3"x3"
One sized 2.5"x3"
One sized 3"x4"
One sized 4.5"x3"
One sized 3.5"x3.5"

Project #5

Childhood Memories
Choose random pictures from your childhood-- Or create the album for a child or friend.

Photos Needed:

Seven sized 5.25"x5.25"

Note: Horizontal measurements of the photos are first.

Sweetwater suggests converting your photos to black and white. Not only will they go with every color scheme, they give albums a timeless appeal.

However, if you just love color--- Go for it!
